I want to let you know right now that God is not coming back for a bunch of Christians who were defeated and hiding and living in the ground or in caves, slurping old soup, waiting for Jesus to come. He's coming back for a church in power, in glory, in prosperity, a bright and glowing white, without spot, without blemish or wrinkle or any such thing. Amen.
00:26 - Speaker 2

01:11 - Speaker 1
I want to preach to you five things that you will see in this current move of God that we see beginning and bubbling up and stirring up in our country. Amen, five things. Now, before I begin with the five things, I know from doing this a while that people, when they're hurting people, when they're desperate because of the hurt, because of the desperation, they tend to view everything through a lens of well, what's in it for me? You know their favorite radio station is WIFM radio, what's in it for me radio, and if it doesn't immediately minister to their felt needs, they kind of check out. Don't do that. Even if you're new and you just came yesterday to the Lord, to City Light Church, don't check out. When you become obsessed I'll use that word obsessed with the things of God, you will see those areas in your life that you want God to fix. That's when he does them. When you're not looking at those areas, but when you're looking to him and you want to build his kingdom, you want to build his house.
02:10
Just the other day, for fun, I was rereading for the hundredth time the book of Haggai. How many of you ever read the book of Haggai. Too many people don't even know where the book of Haggai is. They go to table of contents eye to find the book of Haggai. But Haggai, chapter one, opens up with a bang.
02:27
Haggai, the prophet is rebuking the people and he says is it now time to dwell in your own paneled houses? See, the Lord had blessed them. The Lord had multiplied the silver and gold. He blessed them with goodly homes. They lived in wood paneled houses. He said you're doing great living in your wood panelpaneled houses, but what about the house of the Lord? It's in ruins.
02:46
This was after the Babylonian captivity. And he said because you're neglecting God's kingdom and you're so focused on yourself. He said you're going out, you're laboring much, you're gathering and grabbing whatever you can, only to put it in a bag with holes in it. And he says what little you can manage to scrounge together. I sent the wind and blew it all away.
03:07
Says repent, jesus. He echoes that same sentiment when he says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these other things. God's not against you having things, but he is against things having you. But when, when your focus is Jesus, the gospel, expanding his kingdom, all that other stuff, it'll just be added unto you, amen. And when you're actually focused on Jesus, you won't even care. That's why, in that day, when you get that crown, your immediate reflex is to lay that crown at his feet, because it doesn't matter. All that matters is him, amen. So for a moment, put your own needs aside and focus on the kingdom of God. We're actually going somewhere. The Holy Spirit is leading us, and when I say we, I don't mean City Light Church, I mean the international body of Christ, the church universal, the beautiful bride of our God. There's an awakening coming, hallelujah, hallelujah. And we're overdue. Oh, it's knocking even at the door. Hallelujah, it's got one foot in. Number one, five signs, five characteristics of this move of God. Number one is found in 2 Corinthians 5, verses 17 through 19. Every believer, this is when you know that the Lord is moving and the body of Christ is in revival. Every believer gladly accepts the responsibility of evangelism.
04:48
Now I remember I moved to New York City in 1981. I was only five years old. Don't do the math, I'm 49. I was only five years old, but because we didn't have this in former Yugoslavia All throughout the 80s and some of you, longtime New Yorkers back me up here. You remember all throughout the 80s and some of you longtime New Yorkers back me up here. You remember all throughout the 80s. It seemed like there was a preacher in every subway car. You remember that Somebody's nodding, anybody else? Remember that? You went out anywhere there were street corner preachers everywhere. What happened? There was still the afterglow, the embers of the Jesus movement in the 70s, where personal evangelism nobody had to tell them to do it. They were set ablaze and they had to share their faith. They had to share their faith.
05:33
Emily was just telling me the story of how her mom, she, was saved during the Jesus movement and she got a tract from Encampus Crusade for Christ on the four spiritual laws. She said to this day she remembers what page of the tract it was for her that stood out to her and convinced her. She met her friend who said that same tract. I came to the Lord via that tract and I remember a page. It's different than your page but I remember Just evangelism was as natural as breathing. That's where the Lord wants to bring us back to, but unfortunately right now the stats are not too good. 2% is what the number is, that 2% of Christians are actively sharing their faith with their social circle.
06:19
I didn't say you should get on a subway car and preach, stand on a corner, go hold a mass crusade in a foreign land. You're not responsible for the whole world, but you're responsible for your circle of influence. And because listen, we all know what Hollywood's been doing. Does Hollywood ever show a normal pastor? Never. You will never see a normal, godly, on-fire pastor. You will never hear about him in the news. They'll report on somebody who's embezzled money or you know the stories.
06:49
And Christians have been shamed and mocked and a lot of Christians have been beaten down in a closet. Hey, come out of the closet. It's time to come out of the closet. Jesus didn't die in a closet, he died on a mountain for everybody to see. A boldness is going to come upon God's people. You'll see, with this move of God, you have been put down in shame for too long. Who cares what the world thinks? Who cares what people have to say? There's people's eternal destinies that hang in the balance. Hallelujah, 2 Corinthians 5, 17.
07:21
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Now all things are, of God, who has reconciled. That means he's made peace with us to himself through Jesus Christ. Well, thank God for that. We were once enemies of God. Before we received Jesus, that was our spiritual standing. Enemies of God. The wrath of God was abiding on us. But now we have peace with God, our maker, and God, our father, through Jesus, and he has given us what the ministry of reconciliation.
08:02
That's what you have the ministry of reconciliation. What does that mean? That means that your job, you have an unbeliever, an unsafe friend, co-worker, family member. They're lost, they're not going to heaven because they've never gotten all of their sins forgiven through Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross. But God, the Father, has love for them. God has already forgiven them in Christ, but they don't know it yet. Somebody has to tell them. And so you come as a bridge maker and you take the hand of that lost person, and then there's God, the Father, who's already forgiven them in potential format, but they must receive that forgiveness, and you take their hands and bring them together. What is that? The ministry of reconciliation, the ministry of reconciliation, the ministry of reconciliation, I'm going to tell you right now. It doesn't Instagram, well. It doesn't Facebook, well, it's not that glorious.
08:55
Every time somebody shows a successful ministry, they're always standing over a field preaching to a quarter million people. That's nice, but that's not how most of the work actually gets done. You know how most of the work actually gets done? Lots and lots of coffees in diners, in coffee shops, meeting people and sitting with them in a park bench, sharing your life and getting in there and helping them, because you may be the only Jesus they ever encounter. Jesus, he's given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
09:28
By the way, I often come across people who want to quote unquote get into ministry. How do I get into ministry? There's only one way I've seen people effectively get into ministry. They first start with the ministry of reconciliation, by the way, that never ends. But they're not looking for a position, they're not looking for a title. They just start helping people right where they're at, sharing the gospel right, and they actually minister their way into full-time ministry. Oh Jesus, anybody here wants to get into full-time ministry? Get a Starbucks gift card for yourself. Have lots and lots of coffees. A gift card for yourself, have lots and lots of coffees.
10:09
This is how I got saved in a Burger King that's where. And a three hour long conversation, 1992, bed-stuy, burger King, 1992 Bed-Stuy. It had the bulletproof things where I couldn't even get my Whopper. The plexiglass thing you put in your money, it swivels out get my Whopper. Somebody loved me enough to spend three hours with me there. I went through the whole canister of Burger King napkins. They could have been doing other things. They were patient. They answered my stupid questions Like well, if the Bible's true, what about the dinosaurs? That was my 16-year-old rebuttal to the gospel. Hallelujah, hallelujah, oh Jesus. It takes a village, they say, to raise a child. It takes a church of on-fire radical Christians to raise up the new believers that are coming. You know how you know you're on fire. You looked at that video and marked the people who were getting baptized and they went on your list. They went on your prayer list, they went on your. Oh, when I see them, I'm gonna hug them, I'm gonna encourage them, I'm gonna speak words of life to them, hallelujah.
11:15 - Speaker 2
Hallelujah.
11:17 - Speaker 1
Number two five things you're gonna see in this current move of God. Number two these are no particular order, but you will see supernatural financial increase. Why will you see supernatural financial increase? Because God's kingdom is an ever-increasing kingdom. Jesus taught us that it started off as a mustard seed and it's grown into a tree where all the other birds of the air can come and nest in it. But in order for the kingdom of God to grow, it requires money.
12:00
Son, come up here for a second. I just want to let you know my son. He knows his mission. I've never suggested he go into the ministry like me. The Lord has to do that, otherwise he'll be miserable. But technically and he knows this right, I've told you this. You've got two choices. You can either become a full-time minister or you're going to become a multi-deca-millionaire and build at least a dozen churches Amen, amen. And build at least a dozen churches, amen, amen.
12:25
Some of you are frozen, like I can't believe. He just said that. What else? Either he's gonna preach or he's gonna fund the gospel, or both. Can it get more glorious than that? If you got offended at that, you're the one who should be saying that's me, lord Bless me that I could expand the gospel, amen, that I could build the kingdom. Oh Lord, proverbs 13, 22. I'm glad I didn't drive my Maybach today. Some of you would have thrown eggs at it. You would have been really upset. I'm not preaching theory right now. The Lord did it in me as a sign and a wonder and to provoke you. Amen, he wants to do it. He'll get stuff to you if he knows he can get it through you. Hallelujah.
13:24
This verse that I'm about to read to you I memorized 20 years ago. 20 years ago when I was broke. Broke, broke couldn't rub two dimes together, but I read it and I said, yes, I cooperated with the truth of God's word. When you're presented with the truth of God's word, don't reject it. You may not be living it, but that doesn't mean you reject it. Allow the word to transform you. Don't mean you reject it. Allow the word to transform you. Don't let your situation try to transform the word of God. It's not budging, it's forever and it's here to stay. Amen. And this is the word of the Lord. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. If you're a believer in Jesus you have been made righteous. That means that a portion is coming to you.
14:13
We find ourselves even now at a very unique time in history. Tens of trillions of dollars are locked up right now with heathen unbelievers and says there's gonna be a whole lot of shaking going on. I'm gonna come and I will shake and there will be a transfer of wealth I've shared with you. My life has financially been transformed in the last year. Where do you think that money came from? Statistically speaking, it was not Christians. It got shaken from people who have rejected the Lord for decades, been self-obsessed, been greedy. God said this far, no further enough. Shake and bake you a little bit and see who catches the rest. Amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. Job 27, verses 16 through 17.
15:18
I stopped watching Christian television. I mean, never was a big fan because it's tacky, but still sometimes Flick it on. Thank you for those three laughs of honesty. You've always thought it it's okay to say Gaudy, tacky, sometimes just plain intellectually offensive. But I stopped completely when I noticed there were more ministers out there selling soups, cans of soups and stuff. No kidding, there's entire ministries On the one side. They talk to you about how good God is On the other side. They're selling you like protein bars that will last 100 years because they believe the end of the world is coming. They're going to end up being all scattered and they're going to end up living in caves drinking 30-year-old soup cans.
16:16
I want to let you know right now that God is not coming back for a bunch of Christians who were defeated and hiding and living in the ground or in caves slurping old soup waiting for Jesus to come. He's coming back for a church in power and glory and prosperity, a bride in glowing white, without spot, without blemish or wrinkle or any such thing. Amen. We're not going to be in a defeated state. We're going to be at our apex, at our best. Your faith should be out there. Lord, let it be me, amen.
16:54
And the way you qualify for it to be you is by showing trustworthiness today, if you're a good steward of the money he's given you today, if you're generous with the money he's given you today, if you're submitted. The Lord is looking for a submitted heart. He's not looking for a perfect person, but a yielded submitted whose heart cries. Lord, I do whatever you want for me to do. I go where you tell me to go. I say what you tell me to say. The Lord says, and then he tries with a little. And then, if you're faithful with that, he gives you more. And when you're faithful with that, he gives you more. And when you're faithful with that, he gives you even more. And when you're faithful in a little, he makes you ruler and master over much. Amen.
17:36
Though he, the unbeliever, heaps up silver like dust and piles up clothing like clay. He may pile it up, but the just will wear it. Hallelujah, and the innocent will divide the silver. Hallelujah, ecclesiastes 2.26. For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in his sight. Now listen, none of us should ever say oh Lord, I know in and of myself I'm good in your sight. No, bo, by himself wicked in the sight of God, bo, wrapped in the righteousness of Jesus, you, wrapped in the righteousness of Jesus, you're perfect in God's sight, you are good in his sight and you qualify. A lot of the Old Testament makes sense when you read it through the lens of the New Testament and you realize that the blood of Jesus has qualified you for every promise in the Old Testament. Do we have any people who are good in his sight, in Jesus, amen. But to the sinner he gives the work of gathering and collecting that he may give to him who is good before God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, praise God, hallelujah, Number one.
18:59
Number one believers are going to evangelize. They're going to boldly share their faith. Number two there's going to be a supernatural financial increase. Number three, and we're already seeing this the youth and the children are coming in unprecedented numbers. Yesterday was so glorious Teenagers who got saved, and then kids.
19:25
Is that 10-year-old boy he's not here right? The one who got baptized? He's come here, come here, oh, come here, man, look at it. Come to Uncle Bo. All right, hang on right now. Hang on, we're going to just sit you right here.
19:43
All right, I want to do a little interview with this guy, all right. So his mother on fire, christian, and she came to me but just concerned. She said you know my son. He's 10 years old and he just keeps talking about baptism. He really wants to get baptized. What do you think? I said I think you've got a great problem right now. I said can I meet him? She goes downstairs to City Kids and brings him up.
20:08
Remember, in the first service, I said his face was glowing. I mean, come on, look at this. This guy looks like he woke up with the hand of Jesus on him. The Holy Spirit's all over him. It's just a beautiful thing.
20:27
You're the future man. I really feel I don't want to be tacky. I feel to do this. I just felt that right now, man, lord, jesus, you got us so into this. Now we don't have to do a whole thing. This is for your future. You take this and when you see him, give him a little something. Or, if you want to run right now, give him a little something. I'm serious. We've never done this. By the way, if you're new, you'll go what's wrong? But the hand of God is on this young man. I'm not going to stay up here forever. So if you got something Now, you might wonder what's happening here.
21:10
Good ground gets good seed and we're believing for a multiplication, a multiplication for you, that the hand of the Lord would increase on your life and everyone who gives you money. What they're saying is I believe in the hand of God that's on you. May the Lord raise up more and more. Thank you, jesus. If I had planned this, it wouldn't have worked. I'm telling you I would never. But this is what the good Lord is doing touching the hearts. Victor, why don't you just come on here, give him a hug and bless him? The Lord is touching Nice. Yeah, buddy, yeah, oh man, you're taking all your friends out for pizza and Coke. How was baptism yesterday?
22:09 - Speaker 2
Great.
22:12 - Speaker 1
Jesus Go with blessing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now that's it. You can go back to your mom, be blessed. You're awesome, you're welcome. Thank the Lord.
22:27
Children, it's beautiful pastoring such a generous church. I'm so glad you instantly obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2, verses 14 through 17. We're going to see more and more of that. People think when Christianity immediately goes along with that rebellious teenagerhood no, we've had teens here Give it over to the things of God, love Jesus. You're going to see more and more of that because what they have right now they see they're smart enough it's not working. It's not working.
23:00
And when kids get filled with the Holy Spirit you can't downplay it. They don't get a pint-sized Holy Spirit. They don't get like a lesser version of the Holy Spirit. It's not like we have the full version of the Holy Spirit and they get the beta test version. They get the same Holy Spirit as us. The Lord can talk to them, they can hear his voice, they can prophesy, they can pray, they can lay hands, they can see the sick healed. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
23:29
Acts, chapter 2, verse 14. But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem. Let this be known to you and heed my words, for these are not drunk as you suppose. Since it is only the third hour of the day, that has nothing to do with my message, but let me just pause and say that it's fascinating that on the day that the church was birthed, that Peter's first sermon, his opening line was hey, these Christians aren't drunk. I want to be able to have to apologetically declare that over you, because what do drunk people look like? They don't have a care in the world. They're laughing, they're happy, they're free. Of course, when you're drunk in the natural, you have to pay for that the next day and it's sin. But when you're drunk in the Holy Spirit, you're full of joy. There's laughter because joy has a sound. You don't care what people think. I want to get reports. There's a group of city lighters stumbling down Steinway. The police have been called, people think they're drunk and I have to go there. Whoa, whoa, whoa, people of Astoria. These city lighters, they're not drunk as you suppose. I'm not going to say they're not drunk, they're just not drunk as you suppose, but they're filled with the Holy Ghost. Amen, amen.
25:07
Did we lose power? Oh, awesome, just go back to that one verse, for these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour, 9 am of the day, but this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel and it shall come to pass. In the last days, says God, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. I call every backslidden child home. Right now we break the power of Satan over their lives. That their eyes would be illuminated with the light of Jesus. Come back home. I'm speaking that for every one of you, as kids who aren't serving the Lord, that they would be radicalized in Jesus, made on fire for him. No compromise. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions. Your old men shall dream dreams. Amen. And I think that's why every time we see a young person who loves Jesus, celebrate that, encourage that, get behind that Hallelujah. Number four found in Ephesians oh wait, hold on, don't go to Ephesians yet, because immediately people will have a knee-jerk reaction. Number four that's going to mark this revival is not just a return to, but a passion for the traditional family model. Satan has been attacking the family always, but in the last 80 years it's been incessant to break down God's family model, the God-ordained hierarchy in marriage, the beauty of the family. God, the God-ordained hierarchy in marriage, the beauty of the family, because if he can get and crack that family, the whole thing will disintegrate, and that affects churches, that affects cities, that affects states, that'll affect an entire nation.
27:13
My son and I we watch shows, we like to get our lols on in the evenings and we were talking about the men in the shows and I said, son, can you think of any one of the shows that you like where there was a man that you would want to be like? Then I qualified and said but they have to be like a normal human. Don't talk to me about Spider-Man or Captain America, remember, we talked about this the other night. Is there any man that's like an aspirational figure for you". He said no, there is no man that I say, oh, I want to be like that. I at least had James Bond. I saw my first 007 in America. I was like, wow, that guy, I want to be like that. Thank God, I became greater than that because James Bond never settled down, got married and had a family. Greater than that because James Bond never settled down, got married and had a family.
28:04
But when you look at it, just do this as it does. Look at any time a man is shown he's like a bubbling buffoon. He doesn't know whether he's coming or going. He's always goofy. He can't be a provider, he can't be a leader of the family. His wife is always kind of looking at him sideways, like, oh, you're cute, but I'm going to have to pick up the pieces after your disaster. That's not by accident, that's by design. It's by satanic design.
28:32
Now, this passage that I'm about to read to you from Ephesians people think that it's a wedding passage, just like people think Psalms 23 is a funeral passage. And it's not. This passage from Ephesians. It's not a wedding passage. It's Paul's instructions on how to live a victorious, spirit-led life for everyday Christians. That's what this is. I'm gonna use it in a wedding. I'll be using it in your wedding in Puerto Rico next week and we're so excited and I just want to thank you for flying not just me, but they were so generous. They said doesn't your wife want to go? I said I believe she does. Then we got some texts a couple of weeks later. Well, two nights isn't enough. Why don't you just stay a little longer. I said don't mind if we do. Thank you very much that. That's very, very kind of you.
29:24
Ephesians 5, 22, through verses 33. Now, relax, all right, because it says wives, wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord. But just, ladies, just chill, because I'm going to tell you what that really means in the Greek. In the Greek, what that really means is submit to your own husbands as to the Lord. If you can't look around and see that modern day feminism has destroyed this country, you're blind. You're blind, I'm all for. You know it always starts off nice, great, equal pay for equal work. I'm all behind that. Now it's morphed into this monster and people don't know who's running the family. Listen, I don't care what smart thing you have to say that you picked up on the latest Netflix special, but anything without a head is a monster and anything with two heads is a freak. And so are my wife and I equal in value to the Lord. You better believe it. We're equally loved and we're equal in value.
30:30
And the woman was taken out of Adam's rib, out of his side, not out of his toe that he should stomp on her and rule over her, not out of his skull that she's over him, she's equal to him, but we have why this shouldn't be controversial to say we have different responsibilities. There's a part of me I would love to grow a baby inside of me. That would be awesome, that's awesome, but I don't get to do that. And there may be a part of a woman that says I would love to lead a family, but you don't get to do that. You don't get to do that If you have a husband and husbands. Your job is to be so loving and have your act before the Lord in order and position yourself to receive the Lord's grace and favor that she would want to follow you. If you ever have to bust out this verse to her, you already lost. I'm telling you, you can't bust out the moment you start using the scripture as a weapon against anybody you already lost. You should lead your life in such a way, under the Lord, that she can't wait to get underneath your protective covering Amen.
31:37
I had a friend. I had led her to the Lord. Whenever this verse came up literally in the sanctuary, her body would freeze up because her dad left and she saw how her mom struggled and was hurt. I get that If there are ladies here, what I'm saying to you probably deep down inside you know, resonates as true, but what you've experienced me saying that even causes you great pain. There is an answer there, and the answer isn't for you to get cold, get bitter, lock up and say I don't need no man or I'm going to run my own life. That's not the answer either. But could you believe that there are men who love Jesus out there, men who submit their lives to God, and that God wants to? When you do the same, put you together with such a man. Amen.
32:19
Anything good that can be said about me, anything. First of all, the honor goes to Jesus. Second, and I tell my wife this all the time, I would be living under a bridge if it wasn't for Jesus and her. She has inspired me, she has motivated me, she has looked up to me in a way where I had no choice but to lead, and it caused me to rise up and become the man of God he called me to be. So, ladies, you can provoke your man to greatness, and men, you can love your wives and have peace and be stable so that they actually want to follow.
32:48
Amen, for the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is the head of the church and he's the savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives. Just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for her, that he might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water, by the word, that he might present her to himself a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish, so husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. By the way, once again, great passage to use for weddings. Paul isn't doing a wedding here. He's teaching the Ephesian church how to live a victorious Christian life. These are the first steps.
33:51
So is it any wonder why Satan has attacked the family, why he's caused gender and role confusion? People don't know who they are, what they want, what they should want, and getting brainwashed by the media and the immense and horrible change in culture that's happened in the last 15 years, and it's not working. It's not working, for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it just as the Lord does the church, for we are members of his body, of his flesh and of his bones. For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
34:39
Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular, so love his own wife as himself. Notice how often Paul says love your wife, love your wife, love your. And often Paul says love your wife, love your wife. And, by the way, love your wife doesn't mean have positive vibes towards her and doesn't mean nodding your head like a simp and just saying yes to everything. Love your wife means be willing to die, be willing to sacrifice After Jesus. This is your number one priority, amen. And then, when you're doing that, and everything starts with men this shouldn't be controversial. Everything starts with men.
35:21
People are quick to point out oh, look at OnlyFans and look at this culture and look at all those Jezebels. Where were those Jezebels' father that became Jezebels? Pornography wouldn't be it's not three guys consuming all the pornography out there. Pornography wouldn't be the octopus monster with its tentacles wrapped around so many people that it is, if it wasn't for men. Men, I will say this men dropped the ball also around 80 years ago and things got out of control and out of hand. And it's okay. Now I'm preaching a little bit of my message that I was going to preach today, but it is okay. It is okay to say you know, women are different from men and men are different from women. And somehow in the last five minutes of human history that actually became controversial to say, because culture wants us to think that we're interchangeable and we're not. There is the glory of a man, there is the glory of a woman. Amen, hallelujah, hallelujah, oh Jesus, listen to this. And why I'm saying this is a part of the current move of god, because there's historical precedent that this always happened.
36:34
When revival came, 1904, the welsh revival drunkenness and domestic abuse plummeted. Men returned to their homes as godly fathers. The first and second great awakenings produced not only conversions but moral reforms, including renewed emphasis on marriage, parenting and community values, the Jesus movement of the 1970s. Many wayward young people were reconciled with parents and built Christian homes of their own. Because revival it may begin in the altar but it's sustained in the sanctuary of the house, the sanctuary of the dinner table and God's spirit restores families. That's good news, isn't it? Not just individuals. He didn't tell Noah to build a canoe. He said build an ark for all the animals and your whole house, amen.
37:31
Confusion around gender, parenting roles and marriage is a spiritual attack, and God is undoing it in this hour. The next generation depends on what we build in this one Revival that skips the family is not sustainable. The family is not a social construct, it is a divine assignment. By the way you know, humans did not come up with the idea of marriage. God did. In the garden. It's actually his idea, a really brilliant and good idea. And when you follow God's idea, prosperity happens. Yeah, so you know, there's people. They can call a lot of things marriage. It's not marriage. I don't know what it is. It's whatever they want to think it is. But god has an idea of what marriage is, and it's a man and a woman coming together and being married and then having godly offspring. Amen, amen. Thank you for the three people clam clapping.
38:24
Some of you are either lazy or you have been New Yorkified. Your brain has turned to mush. I don't know if you watched morning programming or whatever, but your programming is showing a little bit by your lack of enthusiasm. I'm kidding, but just know most of my jokes are 90% true. Amen, amen, all right, it's really funny. You could see it Some people.
38:53
You're speaking truth. It's biblical truth and it's historical truth. You look at any high-functioning society or civilization. This is the basis All the world around. But then you have people who were raised right, know this to be true, but they've been programmed. It's so subtle, it's in everywhere you see, programmed Every time. You stream something and then you got the truth hitting in your belly and your mind is like and that's how you're sitting right now. I'm mad at him. Does not compute. Error system 503.
39:35
Number five radical boldness. Acts 431,. Why boldness matters. Boldness breaks silence in a silencing culture. The Spirit empowers truth speaking in an age of compromise. This is a mark of revival, no timidity. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. Acts 4.31,.
40:05
The early church was like a few weeks old at this point. Notice what happened to Peter Weak, feeble-minded Peter, foot-in-mouth syndrome, peter who denied Jesus three times when he was just a few feet away from him. Denied him three times, but when he gets filled with the Holy Spirit. That same day he stands up and preaches to a huge crowd. We don't know how big the crowd was, but we know 3,000 people got saved in that crowd. What is that? That's the boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit.
40:36
There's people you're here right now. You know who you really are and it's like you've sunken in and you've fallen in and you're viewing the world through your two eyes and you know you're just at like 20% expression level and God made you wonderful. God made you beautiful and he wants to restore that other 80%. But you've been intimidated, you've been put down, you've believed lies and so you've shrunk back. It's like you're just using your body as an avatar. No, no, I break that off for you, in Jesus' name. The boldness of God comes upon you. You were fearfully and wonderfully made that you can freely express the beautiful you, the glory of you that he put inside of you, amen. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with shout it, boldness, amen. Worship team, come on up.
41:32
Boldness is not arrogance, it's alignment with heaven. It flows from being full of the Spirit and not being full of self. There's a lot of correlations. That's why the Bible talks about being drunk with the Holy Spirit. Do not be drunk with wine, wherein is dissipation, but be full of the Holy Spirit. The implication is be drunk in the Holy Spirit. I've seen the most timid people four beers later.
42:03
I'll tell you another thing. It's like what happened to you. Look at all that boldness. Take a sip of the new wine of heaven. Take a sip of God's Holy Spirit and watch holy boldness come upon you. Hallelujah.
42:21
Well, church, it's good to be alive. It's good to be alive in May of 2025. God's not dead, he's very much alive. He's moving in our midst and we're contending for more. Amen, let me pray for you, father, in the name of Jesus. We thank you for what you're doing with us. We don't deserve it, but you're so much better to us than we are to you. May you continue. Lay your hand upon every person. Increase the flow of the Holy Spirit and the anointing upon every person. Increase the flow of the Holy Spirit and the anointing. Multiply your people and let us see New York City and America bend the knee to Jesus. We thank you for it, lord, amen, amen, hallelujah. Are you all ready to honor the Lord with your tithes and offerings? Give a big hallelujah, if you are Always give with a glad heart. Know that you're sowing, expect to reap. This is how we demonstrate to the Lord that we're trustworthy, that we're good stewards, and my prayer is that the Lord would multiply it back to you. That message from Haggai. I used to preach an offering message called Papa's Got a Brand New Bag.
43:48
Remember James Brown? Papa's got a brand new. Ha. You know what I heard about James Brown. I heard that he was very happy. Some of those musicians were very deep. Where's John? Okay, very deep.
43:56
James Brown's whole shtick was that he was very happy. Some of those musicians were very deep. Where's John? Okay, very deep. James Brown's whole shtick was that he was smiling, happy, right, and this is really from somebody who knows the business. He said when James Brown would turn around that he'd be looking at everyone, all of his musicians, and if every single one of them wasn't smiling, he'd dock their pay. Did that break your heart? That's strong leadership and good management. That's why, when you look at the videos, all of them are really happy. They want to get docked by James.
44:34
What does that have to do with anything? Oh, yes, papa's got a brand new bag in Haggai. He tells them, when you're not honoring the Lord first, it's like you're putting your stuff in a bag with holes in it. Like my wife and I, we said that when we first got married. She actually said that to me. She said you know, when you don't tithe, you lose it anyway. The dishwasher goes bad, your refrigerator breaks down, your car gets tickets, and then you tithe, and then that stuff doesn't happen and breaks down, your car gets tickets, and then you tithe and then that stuff doesn't happen. And so you never really miss out on the 10% because Papa's got a brand new bag. Amen, I don't want a bag with holes in it. I want a holy bag, but not with holes in it, one that actually keeps the treasures inside.
45:12
Let's all stand. Ministry team, won't you go to my left, your right, if you want prayer for anything? Listen now. If you want prayer by the laying on of hands maybe you've never received prayer Go over to my left in that bluely lit area. You're going to find some men and women of God there. They love the Lord, they love people. They're going to lay hands on you. They're going to pray with you and for you and we're going to release our faith and see miracles happen. So don't be shy.
45:41
I always go by back there. Oh, by the way, let me also say this I've never actually said this, maybe years ago I have. The reason I'm not over there is for the first I don't know how many years I was doing all the praying and laying on of hands and the Lord said stop it. You need to multiply ministry. But if you ever want me to pray for you, you notice I'm here, so you can always. I never I'm here to pray for you.
46:06
If you want me to pray for you, I'm always here to pray for you, always love to pray for you. But we just multiply that and you can go over there and you don't even maybe have to wait as long. Amen. And, by the way, different people have different anointings, different gifts. Yeah, that's okay to say, and so sometimes you want different people to pray for you. That's cool and that's good. This week, may it be blessed. May you see the favor of God as you put your eyes on his kingdom. May you also see how he's working in your life. You focus on Jesus and he'll take care of all the things. Go church and be blessed in Jesus name Amen.
