Can you believe that an outreach inspired by the movie 'God's Not Dead' could draw a record-breaking crowd of 478 students with 23 dedicating their lives to Jesus? This is only one of the miraculous stories we share as we recount our mission journey with City Light Church to the University of California, Berkeley. We also touch upon the moving tale of a skeptic who, intending to 'drill some holes', unexpectedly found herself surrendering to the Lord, and the transformative story of a young man compelled to attend but who left with a completely changed life.
 
In a testament to the power of faith and prayer, we undertook an epic 9,000-mile journey of prayer across America. Every city we stepped into felt the power of our prayers, peaking in a pivotal meeting with the Surgeon General of America. The rewards of our unwavering faith and continuous prayers were immense, with God providing us a new zip code to call home. We also discuss Nehemiah's awe-inspiring feat of rebuilding Jerusalem's wall in 52 days, attributing his success to four months of intense prayer and fasting before undertaking his mission.
 
We reinforce the need to remain persistent in our prayers, staying attuned to the Holy Spirit's guidance.

02:11.202 --> 02:12.929 Because this church is my church. 02:13.009 --> 02:29.336 This church has been a praying church, this church has been a giving church, this church has been a sending church and you guys have sent us to be on this mission to see every student in every nation gospelized and mobilized. 02:30.238 --> 02:37.518 And we've been on this, on this tour, in the University of California, berkeley Fantastic place. 02:37.538 --> 02:39.805 I mean, we hear all these kind of narratives. 02:40.066 --> 02:44.043 I'm not saying those narratives are not true, you know those are facts. 02:44.585 --> 02:47.916 But the truth is that Jesus loves Berkeley. 02:48.678 --> 02:54.156 So we were there for the last 10 days just serving the students and working to get this outreach. 02:54.678 --> 03:00.072 I don't know if you have heard this movie called God's Not Dead, right. 03:00.132 --> 03:05.007 So we were out there doing this apologetics event with my mentor, dr Rice Brooks. 03:05.027 --> 03:09.763 We are officially collaborating LifeJumps bringing this to different campuses, and we were there. 03:11.065 --> 03:24.403 And, man, I want to just say that we had a record-breaking crowd in the history of Berkeley in the recent times 478 students right packed up in this place, standing room only. 03:25.827 --> 03:32.345 This is historic because this is the same campus that Martin Luther King stood on the steps and made a big speech. 03:33.006 --> 03:36.734 It was also the same place that Billy Graham went to in 1956. 03:37.421 --> 03:52.210 And there was a massive revival and thousands of students were touched and impacted and campus crusader big ministries were launched into this campus and most of the time we hear about stories that happened in the past, but I was like man. 03:52.351 --> 03:59.073 We got to see that right now, right here, because the God that we serve is the God of the right nows, amen. 03:59.294 --> 04:00.699 He's also the God of the yesterday. 04:00.719 --> 04:03.108 He's done some great things, but he's the best. 04:03.208 --> 04:05.838 I tell people, the best is yet to come, amen. 04:06.119 --> 04:11.733 So we were there 478 students packed up in this place and 107 responded. 04:11.774 --> 04:15.602 Out of that, 23 students gave their lives to Jesus. 04:19.128 --> 04:25.144 The captain of the football team gives his life to the Lord, walks up to us and says God, touch me today. 04:25.925 --> 04:29.192 This is not like a revival service, is a college campus. 04:29.713 --> 04:31.022 So we are asking questions. 04:31.403 --> 04:39.488 You know, I want you to know, that 60 to 70% of the students that walk into a college campus walk out of the place losing their faith. 04:40.109 --> 04:45.872 I often tell the story about this young girl just like on fire for God, like most of us are, went on. 04:46.194 --> 04:49.449 You know she was given this opportunity to study in any campus. 04:49.618 --> 04:53.334 You know her parents wanted her to go to Christian school. 04:53.503 --> 04:56.103 She said now I want to go to UNC, chapel Hill. 04:57.966 --> 05:06.812 And she goes there with a mission to change the campus upside down and six weeks later she calls up her dad and says I don't believe in God anymore. 05:08.040 --> 05:11.409 This is the truth that we're facing, so we got to go beyond that campus. 05:11.570 --> 05:14.146 Engage with them, answer some of the questions. 05:14.166 --> 05:19.886 So we talked about the three E's, we talked about the fact that there is evidence to what is written in this book. 05:20.607 --> 05:23.733 This is not just a fable, this is not just a story. 05:24.200 --> 05:29.055 This book has got more evidence than any historic book in the world. 05:29.837 --> 05:31.362 So we just laid out all of those things. 05:31.864 --> 05:33.249 Jesus rose from the grave. 05:33.630 --> 05:37.303 It was not just like somebody just told somebody oh yeah, that's a good idea. 05:37.343 --> 05:45.032 Let me just get you know Jesus rose, no, jesus rose from the dead and over 200 people saw Him rose from the dead alive. 05:45.834 --> 05:47.559 So it's 200 witnesses. 05:47.599 --> 05:48.764 So you know, just talking this. 05:49.005 --> 05:53.081 We talked about evolution, we talked about evil why do bad things happen to good people?
