We have been diving deep into the Gospel of grace, which is the Gospel. It really is something that we keep front and center at CityLight Church because we serve God under the new covenant. It's the new covenant of His grace. We're done as Christians. It's a terrible disservice if the two covenants are mixed together. The Apostle Paul is clear that you cannot mix them together. You have to make a choice whether you're going to live under the old covenant of the law or under the new covenant of grace. We're designed as a natural man. A universal man immediately gravitates towards the law. It's been like that since Genesis, since the eight of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That is a type of the law. We need a mind renewing. The best way you can enjoy Jesus and enjoy all of the benefits He's purchased with His blood is the best way. But the only way is to have a solid understanding of grace. We've gone through Romans 6, 7, and 8.
I'm going to be beginning the book of Galatians shortly. I'm just saying this as like a PS a note, because I said I'd continue with Galatians right after we're done with Romans, but I feel from the Lord to put a pin in it. When will I do Galatians Soon, but I wanted to just do some independent messages before we begin Galatians. Of course, last Sunday we had Pentecost Sunday, where the Lord came in and filled so many people with the Holy Spirit. It was a powerful service, but I love preaching about Jesus because He is grace. The Bible says that the law was given by or through Moses, but grace came in the person of Jesus Christ, and I'm sure this is true for you, it's definitely true for me. I'm grateful for my salvation. It is the pearl of great price and it's not something I take lightly. And you have your own story of how the Lord reached you. I remember very vividly to this day how He opened my eyes. I was not looking for Him. He came looking for me and He plucked me out of darkness and put me in His marvelous light, and I want to serve Him all of my days. And this is also why I said yes to the pastoral call on my life immediately and haven't looked back since, because I prize my salvation and I prize the opportunity to present the gospel with my life and on a weekly basis, so that others too can come and drink of the fountain of salvation that will never run dry, and God has blessed us with a powerful church, a united church, and one of my missions something that's at the very forefront right now is to do everything I can by the grace of God to ensure that you would stay on the straight and narrow, to ensure that you would be celebrating with me and my family on that day.
Now I want to be very clear, because there's a lot of confusion about this. You received eternal life. You received salvation by faith. You did not receive it by works. You didn't get salvation by something you did or didn't do. You received it by grace, but through faith.
And there's a question that arises can I lose my salvation And often it's presented in Christianity like you can very easily if you mess up in sin And it produces this shame and this guilt and this condemnation and really this unhealthy fear where Christians are constantly confessing their sins. I mean, their whole prayer life is just confession of sins. It really is like a religious neuroses And they feel they have to get born again, again and again and again. And whenever the pastor gives the altar call, the hands go right up and they're getting saved and resaved, and resaved. And I just want to be very clear your works did not save you and your works cannot unsave you Amen. Now, when you're genuinely saved, there's going to be especially as the Holy Spirit has an outworking. There's going to be an outflow of good works and there will be a change from the inside out. Grace is not a message of compromise. Grace is an empowerment against sin. It's an empowerment to live holy before the Lord.
But can somebody's salvation be lost? If you look at the book of Hebrews in particular, really, there's many warnings throughout the New Testament that your faith has saved you. So how can you lose your salvation? Well, your unfaith, your unbelief, your disbelief, and I'm not talking about just a random thought that casually goes through your mind. It is the outright rejecting of Jesus After having been saved. Can you imagine that? The outright rejecting of Jesus, the forsaking him And the Bible calls it an apostasy And you then become an apostate. Not to be confused with an apostle An apostate is somebody who has once known Jesus and then has forsaken the faith, and that is a very, very dangerous, dangerous place to be in.
It is a place to be utterly lost. And even in the book of Hebrews there's a warning that says if you have known him and if you have tasted of the powers of the kingdom to come, and it paints this picture of somebody who knew the Lord intimately, knew his word intimately, was used by the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and then they reject Jesus. There is no more coming back to Jesus. They really become of a reprobate mind and you say can they ever repent? They don't even want to. The lights are on but nobody's home. It's like asking can Lucifer repent? Is it too late for him? He doesn't even think about that. He's not debating, it doesn't even register And wow, it's getting real serious Good. So what does that mean for us? Well, the Lord is amazing. I thank Him for His saving power, i thank Him for His keeping power.
But you don't want to flirt with the things of the world. You don't want to flirt with the ideologies that are going on out there. You don't want to get your programming from the world, and if you think you're not, you don't know the kind of world you're living in. It is now more than ever. Your phone and the algorithms on your phone know you better than you know you, and there is an anti-God, anti-gospel, anti-christ message that's constantly being hammered away at you, to chip away at your mind, so that you will just find yourself believing and find yourself doing things that are completely anti the word of God.
And so I just wanna read to you several scriptures concerning the days that we're living in, the last days, the end times, and see what Jesus had to say about them. Are you ready? Matthew 24, verses three through four. Now, as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately saying "'Tell us when will these things be? "'And what will be the sign of your coming? "'And of the end of the age'" Verse four. And Jesus answered and said to them "'Take heed that no one deceives you'".
This is not by accident that the very first thing that Jesus brings up when talking about the last days that we're living in right now, the end times, is deception. And his warning is in the last days. Make sure, make doubly sure, that nobody tricks you, that nobody deceives you. And deception is so awful. Do you know why? Because it's so deceiving. Deception is like bad breath. You're the last one to know. You have it. I have dealt with people who are in deception and they never know they're in deception. How does somebody get to a level and a place of deception where they don't even know that they're deceived, they don't even see a need to course correct and you see them doing 90 miles an hour and the bridge is out. It doesn't happen overnight. Little by little you open up yourself to the other voices in the world. Little by little you open up the door and you just dance with the world a little bit and the ideologies of the world and the thoughts of the world, and Satan then grabs you. And Satan always takes you further than you wanna go and keeps you longer than you wanna stay.
Let's read what the apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said about these last times 1 Timothy, chapter four and verse one. Now the Holy Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. The word doctrine means teaching. The apostle Paul is talking about our time and it doesn't even just say the Holy Spirit says, but the Holy Spirit expressly says. The Holy Spirit clearly and is actively issuing a warning that in the last days they will be doctrines that come from Satan himself, doctrines that are demonic in origin and they're designed to pervert. The word pervert means to distort, to pervert the truth of God and infiltrate God's people's minds and cause them to slowly forsake the truth.
You say Satan, he's so tricky and there are demons that have studied you your whole life. And what does he want now that you are saved? He wants to get you to a place of compromise, a place of not leaning on the word of God and trusting in the word of God, to where you allow a little lie to come in and then the lies multiply and then over time And by the way, i know I just almost heard it in the spirit I was gonna say over time, you forsake the faith. But what I almost heard in the spirit was this attitude of not me. That can never happen to me. And concerning this very attitude, the apostle Paul said take heed when you think you stand, lest you fall. So our attitude should not be one of pride. Pride has nothing to do with the Christian. The doorway that we walk through and continually walk through is one of humility, which means that we are needy, we are dependent, and our heart attitude should be that could be me. Oh God, keep me. Your word says that broad is the highway. It's a highway that leads to destruction. It's a highway to hell, but straight and narrow is the path that leads to life everlasting. Lord, you keep me, especially in this world where the lies are so rampant. You keep me on the straight and narrow.
Second Thessalonians, chapter two, verses one through three. I'm gonna read it out of two versions the new living translation and then the amplified. Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. Don't be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say the day of the Lord has already begun. Don't believe them, even if they claim to have a spiritual vision, a revelation or even a letter supposedly from us. Don't be fooled by what they say, for that day will not come until there's a great rebellion against God. A great rebellion against God, a great forsaking of the faith, a great apostasy, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the one who brings destruction. Now, let's just read that in the amplified, as though I wasn't loud enough. let's amplify it Now.
In regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by so-called prophetic revelation of a spirit or a message or a letter alleged to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has already come. Let no one in any way deceive there's that word again let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy, the forsaking of the faith. I humbly submit this to you that we are living in a time of the greatest apostasy in the church that the church has ever known or seen, unless the apostasy comes first, that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith, the faith by professed Christians, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, the anti-Christ, the one who is destined to be destroyed. Now there is a religion right now that is growing and being pushed. It is growing by millions of followers a day. It is a global religion. It is contrary to the word of God. It has many, many evangelists. It has taken every corporation over, every institution of government, every institution of education. It's fierce and it's after you to pervert the word of God and rob you of the truth that you carry inside of you and the pearl of great price eternal life and salvation that Jesus purchased with his own blood, and that religion is called wokeism, and it is after you.
What is wokeism? If you're just been not paying attention? And you just remember when you first heard the word woke, when was that for you? For me, it was around 2014, 2015. And back then, the word meant being alert to racial prejudice. Right, that's great, that's cool. But it has changed and it has been co-opted and it is different. Now And I said this in the first service, i'll say it again, if I was black, i would be pissed. Right now, i would be pissed Because you have been used and you have been abused by people who don't care about you. They've been pushing and pressing on trauma and hurt to elicit a response, to divide and to conquer, to push their unbiblical, ungodly agenda Amen.
It's like when the riots, when the BLM, blm, blm, blm riots were happening in 2020. Do you know where the worst BLM riots were happening in 2020, do you know where? Portland Oregon. Do you know what place has almost zero black people? Portland Oregon. And I wasn't.
I didn't understand back then completely what was happening and I'm watching the video clips and I'm watching a bunch of angry, white, blue haired with septum rings suburban people And I'm going. What? what is going on here? And then we were in the Poconos at the time and right at us, cranton, i saw the same site. I saw angry white people marching and I saw the spirit. It was a spirit. It was a spirit they were under and I realized I am not privy to what they've been exposed to. They have been programmed, they have been pushed, they are on websites and listening to podcasts that I don't even know exist. They have a wholly, completely different agenda. Nathaniel St Eloi from Haiti, who ministers here often when riot, when they were pulling down statue, when BLM was pulling down statues in DC, all I saw was white hippy people pulling them down And I called up Nathaniel and I said Nathaniel, are they just showing what's really happening? He was in DC. When he said boy, it's all white people. He said I am the only black person here. We're just strolling through with a family.
Yeah, we laugh about it now, but it's the same thing with wokeism, because wokeism comes like a wolf in sheep's clothing. It comes dressed in mercy and compassion, but inwardly it's a ravenous wolf. What is? what is wokeism? In short, it is identity-based Marxism. Now, what in the world is Marxism. What is Marxism You? for some of you, you haven't heard that word since eighth grade. And what does that have to do with the price of eggs and what's happening today?
Marxism was mainly at first. It was an economic theory that was utilized heavily during the Bolshevik Revolution that gave rise to socialism. How was it used? It was used to incite warfare amongst the people, class warfare. You cannot seize power. You cannot seize. The people will resist you. But if you can divide and conquer the people and get different groups warring amongst themselves, then you can seize power And socialism.
Coming having immigrated from a socialist country, it also sounds so appealing, which is why I remember when Bernie Sanders was running back in 16, there was a bunch of our church that were like Bernie people, mainly millennials, young people. You know why? Because it sounds so nice, doesn't it? It's like everywhere we're all gonna get the same and people, poor people, will be taken care of. And let me tell you something you look at socialism from the last 100 years anywhere on earth. It has resulted in more poverty, more murders, more destruction than any other political ideology on planet earth. And, by the way, capitalism with its faults. It's not perfect, but capitalism has produced more prosperity, has brought more people out of poverty, more literacy, more medical breakthrough than anywhere else on earth.
Equities sounds really great when you have nothing, when you're broke, as a joke, and someone says, hey, we're gonna help you, we're just gonna take from this person, and then you start working and you start accumulating. And then someone says, hey, you look like, according to my judgment, you have a little bit too much. Let's just take that from you and redistribute it. Then you're like what? And then you're like, hey, you look like a little bit too much. And then you're like, hey, you look like a little bit too much. That's right. If you wanna know what's so, parents, if you wanna know how socialism works, get your kids to work around the house. You tell them you're gonna pay them. Have one child work an hour, have the other child work eight hours and then pay them the same amount And watch what happens. That's socialism.
I had several people hug me on the way out of the first service saying thank you. I never knew. Some of you are like I know something is up. I am feeling manipulated, i am feeling used and you just can't put your finger on it. By God's grace, we're gonna put your finger on it. This morning I had several people hug me and say I didn't know anything that you were talking about until today.
So what is wokeism? Wokeism is seeing the world through a single lens. It's seeing the world through only one lens, oppressor versus oppressed. Guess who the oppressor is in the religion of wokeism. The number one oppressor, by the way, it's not the white male who's straight, that's there, but the number one oppressor is you, a Christian. Christians are the number one oppressors. There is a war I don't say this lightly When I first got saved.
I hate it. I really disliked No, i hate it. I hated, like culture warrior pastors. I wanted to hear the gospel, i wanted to enjoy the Holy Spirit, i wanted to feel the anointing. And then some pastor, he was always angry and the tie was button too tight and he was railing And I was just like chill man, can I just enjoy Jesus? So this isn't like my shtick. If you're a guest, this isn't my shtick, but I have to say something. Where was I Christians? something you don't hear. You're told that there's all these other oppressed people groups. Right now, the statistic is 13 Christians are excommunicated. They're murdered for their faith. Every single day. Today, 13 Christians will be executed for their faith, but there's no, just no, no tweets about that, No media coverage about that, no movies about that. That's silent. but you're called the oppressor, why? Because you are the last stand. This is the last fortress against a takeover. What kind of takeover, right?
We in America? we're really spoiled. I immigrated here. Took me 18 years to become a citizen. I remember growing up under socialism. I remember singing songs to my president As young as three years old. I remember We were indoctrinated very young. We would sing songs. My president, back then dictator of over 40 plus years, jose Bros Tito, we would sing I pledge my eternal allegiance to you. Forever I give you my heart. That's what I saying as a three, four and five year old. And so we're spoiled here And we don't really think in a geopolitical way.
We don't understand that there's entire nations outside of America that for 24 seven they live, eat and breathe America's destruction And guess what? They cannot do it militarily. It's impossible. It's impossible. We have not had foreign invaders on our soil in over 150 years. It's just impossible to get that many people over the Pacific and over the Atlantic or through Mexico and Canada. And it's also impossible because per capita, we have the most guns out of any person, any nation.
No, emperor Hirohito, when asked why didn't Japan physically invade America Quote he said there would be an American with a gun behind every blade of grass. Yee-haw, so they cannot. You're not gonna be paratrooping down. They're not gonna be sailing and storming the beach like at Normandy. They're storming the beach at Coney Island. They don't get obliterated. So what are they gonna do? They wanna subvert. There are government officials right now that have been bought and paid for. They wanna subvert through ideology and they want you out of the way because you are the nation's last stand, you an uncompromised Bible, believing on Christ, the solid rock.
I stand Christian. That's why, whenever you hear wokeism, do you know what's always in the background? I'm telling you it's coming to the foreground That I've known for over 10 years, really nearly 20. Whenever you hear anything woke related, what's always in the background is the churches should pay taxes, take away their tax exempt status. And then they always show some mega church pastor with six cars living in a multimillion dollar home and they say you see, he's abusing the system. That is not your everyday, normal pastor. They exist. I understand that That is not what the church is made up of in America. Over 85% of churches in America are under 250 people. The norm is not a mega church pastor living in affluence. And what would happen if the churches lost their tax exemption status? This is a statistic also, 85% Over 85% would shut down overnight. Why should a church pay taxes on, taxes on money that you've already paid taxes on and then donate it to the church If we're selling stuff on the side?
I understand Most churches aren't, we're not. There is no city light auto body shop, city light car wash, city light cafe, not even a city light bookstore, city light cleaning service. We speak in tongues as we polish your furniture And that is the agenda to take. To hit the church And socialism is destructive and it only benefits the people at the top. It only benefits the people who hold power And you don't hear statistics. You weren't taught. I wasn't taught in American school. You know I was taught about Hitler for years. He was responsible for 13 million deaths. Mao Zedong top of the list. I looked at the list of global genocide leaders. Mao Zedong number one, 80 million people. When, during the socialist communist revolution, when he was instilling the red guard.
By the way, if you study that out, it's the same tactics as this global woke religion today. You invade, you lie, you subvert, and part of the whole lying thing is that there is no truth. Truth is relative. There is no objective truth. Objective truth is truth. That just is Subjective truth. Well, that's subjective To my lived experience and my feelings and what I believe at the time and what has been programming me for days, months, years. And that can be manipulated And that's how we get to plus two equals five. Men can menstruate, men can give birth, and people just start believing that and then they'll believe anything and allow anything in. Oh, hallelujah, we're having a good service here this morning. Wow, why am I preaching this? Because you're gonna make it and you're gonna rejoice in that day And you will not allow lies and you will not allow compromise into your spirit And you're gonna serve the Lord until either your last breath or you hear that trumpet sound And you and your whole family is gonna make it. Amen, hallelujah.
Let's take a look at John 1717. John 1717, speaking of subjective truth and objective truth, and that's why wokeism gave birth to that phrase. My truth Sorry, you don't have your truth. You have an opinion. Everybody's got them. They're like armpits and some of them stink, but it's not truth.
There is one definition for truth. Jesus said it in John 1717, sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth. The word of God is truth, and so something we, as city light, have to have in our heart and listen. The world is after this. Right now, we have to have in our heart a love for God's word, a love for God's standards And an internal fortitude granted to us by the Holy Spirit that says I will not cave in, i don't care if I'm disliked, i don't care if I'm unpopular, i don't care if I'm shunned. What's most important to me is Jesus and this pearl of great price, the salvation that he's given. Amen, and guess what? We can do that and be loving.
I know the church has missed it before because they were really nasty and jerky about it, but you can do that. See, somebody might have commented today. They were like where am I? The other week he was preaching how I'm perfect in Christ and God's grace, and it was love, love, love. These are not two contradictory messages, by the way. These are not a you look at Jesus, his messages.
He preached like this. He's both the lion and the lamb And most people are just giving the lamb amen. No, it's love, but there is a standard for the love Great, if you're amenning, you're gonna love this next part, because in order for wokeism to work, truth must be bent in order for there to be a takeover. You say, hey, are you serious? Do you really believe? I wanna ask you, are you so naive, having lived through the last three years, that you don't believe that there is outside governmental and political forces seeking to shake America and its institutions to the ground so that then they could quote build back better? So the army, whose fundamental doctrine is relative truth two plus two equals five men can give birth, et cetera, et cetera is the LGBTQIAA plus army. And I will say this right now. I realize I've been doing this a while. Our first location was in the East Village.
I've pastored hundreds of people either struggling with homosexuality or full on identifying as gay. I've worked with them, i've loved them. There is no hate attached to this message. In fact, if I didn't love, and truly love, i'd be quiet and I'd be tickling your ears right now. And if you are struggling with same sex attraction, wherever you think you are on the spectrum. I want you to know you are loved, we love you and we say all are welcome. But all are welcome to be loved and to hear the word of truth Amen, and there is hope in Jesus.
So what is it about the LGBTQIA plus? I get the letters mixed up. It is a direct opposite to Christianity. It stands in direct opposition. There is a tension. The greatest tension with Christianity right now is this movement And I believe the greatest persecution that's gonna come will be as these two movements clash. Why is it the opposite? Let me show you right now The LGBT religions.
It celebrates self-expression, self-expression on this side. Christianity is about self-denial. The LGBT religion celebrates and encourages man becoming God. Christianity God became man. The LGBT religion is we celebrate pride. Christianity is we celebrate humility. The LGBT religion is you're born this way. The gospel is you must be born again, amen. Thank you, woo, thank you. The LGBT religion is I'm perfect, just the way that I am. The gospel is I'm a sinner in need of a savior. The LGBT religion worships sex. Christianity worships God. The LGBT religion says love is love. The Bible says God is love. You cannot use a word to define the same word. That's one of the first things I learned in fourth grade, like what does hungry mean? Well, teacher, that's when I'm very hungry And she's like you can't use a word to define the same word. Love is love. That can mean anything, but God is love. God, the nature and character of God as revealed through the holy scriptures, his standard, his righteousness, his person, that is love, hallelujah, hallelujah. Do you know what the greatest sin in the LGBT religion is?
0:35:02 - Speaker 3
Judging.
0:35:04 - Speaker 2
Judgment. Come on, you know this. What's the worst thing you could ever do? Be judgmental, you can't judge. When I touched on this last summer, somebody immediately from that community came and said but pastor, you can't judge. And I said, watch me, i go. My father keeps a place in Miami Beach. We visited my mother and my father in Miami. He's right on Miami Beach, that's party central right, and sometimes we come on Memorial Day And the whole country goes there to have this debaucheryous party. I remember standing there watching one time. Do you know what every third tattoo was? A tattoo said only God can judge me. I'm like you keep on using that phrase. I do not think it means what you think. It means Like that should scare you. But judgment, being judgmental, is the worst thing that you could ever be.
And in John excuse me, matthew, chapter seven, that is probably the main scripture of this ideology and this religion And it's completely taken out of context. By the way, most of you, you came into the 1130 service. You made 50 judgments in your life before you even came to the 1130 service. You judged whether you were going to get up when you felt like it or when your alarm went off. You judged whether you were going to eat when you were hungry or now you were just going to do brunch or lunch afterwards. If you were driving here, you made a judgment at a red light, a good one to stop. When Jesus, in this context, says well, let me first read what he says, then I'll break it down. But this, of course, is celebrated Judge not, judge not. So if you dare say boo, i mean you're judgmental. What if somebody breaks into your house with a gun? Don't judge him, just don't. Just let him go right in. You don't want to be judgmental now do you Judge? not that you be not judged. Let me tell you something. If I see yes, i'm a pastor, i'm a man of God If I see a woman being assaulted or threatened on the subway, i'm going to get down very quickly. I'll be praying the whole way, but I'm going to get down, I'm going to help that woman out immediately. I will make a judgment in that decision in that moment. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged And with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Pastor Mo, i know you're the same way, right, i've been out with you. I know that. Amen, there is going to be holiness, righteousness and order when you are around, amen. What I don't want to ever happen is for me and you to be involved in anything like that at the same time. That will make the news that that will Keep that scripture up, for with what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. Amen.
Now we know there are no contradictions in the Bible. So let's just look at John, chapter 7. Jesus says this according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment. Is he contradicting himself? Did he forget what he said in Matthew 7? What is judging with righteous judgment? mean Two things. One, making a judgment according to the word of God. If the word of God says God is not for this, then I can say with confidence God is not for this. If the word of God says this is an abomination, it is not judgmental. When I say, okay, i don't wanna be involved in this, this is an abomination.
And again, where Christians have missed it is that they are harsh and have been nasty and condemning. And what Jesus is saying in Matthew 7 is don't be condemning, don't have a pointy finger if you're guilty of doing the same thing. That's what Matthew 7 is about. Matthew 7, he's saying if you're struggling with alcohol abuse which, by the way, most people who are struggling a sin, any sin they're persecuting in someone else it's usually the sin they're struggling in If they're pointy finger Christian. So that's what Jesus is saying If you're struggling with alcohol abuse, don't point to somebody else and lecture them on how they shouldn't be drinking alcohol in excess. Take care of the forest, the beam that's in your own eye.
If you're struggling with lust, don't be pointing the finger at someone else who confessed to you. They're struggling with lust and now you're wagging at them. But if you're free in an area the Lord has worked out His holiness in you and there's victory in your life, still don't be proud about that. It's not you, it's Him. And still don't be condemning and proudly wagging your finger at someone. But it is okay to say this is not of God and I won't partake in it. And guess what? We can do that with love without being nasty, without being jerky, without being awful about it. And yes, i will say the church in the past has failed at that And I'm on a mission to see that it can happen in New York City and it can happen here at City Light Church, and that we can be a church of grace and a church of love, a church where we see life transformation happen and, at the same time, not compromise, stand on the truth, amen, and prize the Bible as what it indeed is the holy word of God, amen.
What is so? we realize the greatest sin in the woke slash, lgbt religion, is judging. What is the greatest virtue, any takers? You said acceptance, very good, tolerance, tolerance. The number one virtue is tolerance, even though they are completely intolerant of anybody who themselves is not woke. But what's espoused is this virtue of complete tolerance. Let's look at this scripture in Revelation, where Jesus addresses that Hallelujah, let God be true and every man a liar, and to the angel of the church. Here Jesus is addressing various churches. Most of them are doing pretty well, but Jesus is just course correcting and just pointing out some issues that they may have. This church is doing great.
The church in Theotera, right the words of the Son of God who has eyes like a flame of fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first. They're doing good. This is a church on fire. But I have this against you. He's saying I still got a problem that you tolerate You're not being merciful. See, it's one thing to be merciful. It's another thing to then cross the line into an area of unsanctified mercy. And now you're tolerating that thing that the word of God calls an abomination. But I have this against you that you tolerate that woman, jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. Worship team, come on up.
And so there is a place where you don't have to tolerate that which the Lord doesn't tolerate. And, once again, you cannot tolerate something with a smile on your face. You cannot tolerate something while being loving. You cannot tolerate something while having enough respect for you. You cannot tolerate something while having enough respect for yourself. Where your stance is, i will not compromise, because the word of God is too holy and the word of God is too precious. I'm not. I don't know. I'm making a decision. As for me and my house, we're gonna serve the Lord. Nothing is gonna get in the way of that. And, by the way, and this is why I'm preaching this. It's the first week of June but this is why I'm preaching this?
because there is something else coming down the road And if you haven't figured out that the last three years and this whole COVID thing was related, you have been asleep. You have been asleep Some of you. You have been programmed and you have been lulled. The Bible talks about it a spirit of stupor. A spirit of stupor is the Sandman demon. It puts you asleep. The spirit of stupor is cousins with the spirit of stupid. You just fall asleep and all these things are happening around you. You're just like la la la. You don't even remember that three years ago, people were hating each other and violent with each other over a mask. Some people are still wearing masks underneath their chins. People were.
I chose not to get vaccinated. I'm very. My family made many of you. By the way. As a church, we gave out. We tried to help in any way. We gave out religious exemptions If you don't want to get vaccinated. We were very strong in that stance. We knew that. Listen, you don't have to be a genius when you realize. You know.
Cancer has been around a long time no vaccine. Aids has been around a long time no vaccine. Common cold been around a long time no vaccine. Covid comes around within 18 months. Wow, a breakthrough vaccine totally experimental, never been tested, and the propaganda to get it. And people out of state still don't understand. They don't remember it because they weren't subjected to it like in New York City. I could not get a cup of coffee with my wife for over seven months without flashing a card, so I chose no, thank you.
I grew up on my granddaddy's knee, hearing about the stories with their fight against the Nazis. I know what it's like living in a two-tier society where it's dine, papiden, bitter. Show me your papers. I'm not showing you my papers. It is all connected and I know I could see some of you in your heart. You're so sweet. You want to believe that the government's gonna rescue you and the government's gonna rescue you. You want to believe that this is all that, everything You want to still live in 2019, and there isn't a subversive agenda by people who hate you and all they want is global dominion.
By the way, the Bible talks about this. When the Bible says that when the mark of the beast comes, which, well, i'll put that aside. Should I go there? Let me just finish my thought. Let me just finish my thought. It's a personal opinion, but I'll go there When the mark of the beast comes. It says the whole world will not be able to buy or sell without the mark. That was 2,000 years ago. That's when early Christians said, wow, something's gonna happen where the whole world is ruled by the same hand. And then we started seeing it. My friends in Europe think completely different than my American friends. You say globalism and globalist in American they're like, oh, conspiracy theorist Over there average people, atheists, are talking about. To them it's an established fact. There are forces and they want a one-world governant and they want to control the entire world.
Now about the mark of the beast. You know how Paul said I don't say this by the Holy Spirit, but it's just my opinion. But then he would add and I believe I have the Holy Spirit on this, personally I don't believe just me. I don't believe it'll be a physical mark. I would still be prepared for that and I wouldn't take anything. But the mark of the beast, i believe, is a spiritual mark. Have you ever met somebody and you just know that they're crea? you're like mm, mm, they're marked. And then you say, hey, do you go to church? And then you want to make sure that just not a cultural Christian or really and you dig deeper and you realize they're saved, you're saved, i'm saved, and you just know why. They had a mark. They had the mark of Christ. They were sealed with the Holy Spirit on their head.
The mark of the beast is an anti-Christ anointing. When I marched and I did march in 2020, there were groups that had that spirit on them. They had that anti-Christ spirit where I felt like I needed a shower after hanging with them. It's that mark And you know what it is and why. It is the mark of a giant middle finger to God. It is.
I don't want you. I will not submit to you And the order that you established for the universe and the way things should run. I'm gonna run completely contrary to it. That's the mark. Nevertheless, if somebody comes in with microchips, i'll say gracias, but no, just my personal opinion. Hallelujah. So we're about to receive communion, but I just want you to. Hopefully, we have the high resolution quality. I want you just to watch this video and maybe this was a lot for you. You put you underneath the waterfall this morning and you weren't spooked fed. We watched the video, but just know that this whole thing that we've been through for the last three years. It wasn't by accident And way too many of you still think oh, you know, it was just the government kind of trying its best. Let me just also say this In March of 2020, march 11th look at our social media for City Light Church We did our research and we posted about COVID When nobody quote knew what was happening.
In March 11th, we posted this is what we found. It is a virus that particularly and mainly affects people who are over 80 years old. It is an airborne virus And the stuff that we posted there is nothing new that's come out in three years. That's different from the stuff that we posted March 11th of 2020. And yet still, people done lost their minds. You said what was the purpose? Was that the agenda? No, that was implemented to accelerate the agenda And that was implemented to note and mark your reaction And, unfortunately, some of us were ready to throw our mothers under the bus just to be the virtuous one.
Some of us revealed how easily and how quickly we could get programmed. You've all heard that expression That you'll believe a lie if it's repeated often enough. For some of us, it took just a day of being glued to the TV screen and watching the de-thometer run And immediately we became COVID hysterics. And why am I saying all this? To be prepared for the future, no matter what may come. Not to incite panic. No, we're not a panicky church. We're not a fear-filled church, we're not a worrying church. On Christ, the solid rock we stand, all other ground is sinking sand, but we're gonna be alert. Real woke, holy ghost woke. We're going to be alert to the programming and the schemes of the enemy that are around us. Let's watch this video, crank it up.

Breaking news the president declaring a national emergency. The news staying at home order, We will shut you down. Don't think you can get on a plane or a train.

This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated And we will take you to jail. We've got to get them vaccinated.

Or we will keep you in a facility longer. As the world was descending into synchronized tyranny, i began to ask myself how did they get everyone to go along with this? Oh, it feels so good. Obsessed with finding the answer, i began studying every moment in recorded history where masses of people acted against their own self-interest.

The only mechanism that could explain what was happening in society Screw your freedom, your schmuck was what is usually referred to as mass formation.

You are now with an economy in crisis, but with an incredible opportunity, unprecedented opportunity for a reset.
0:52:13 - Speaker 1
The royal hindrances.
0:52:14 - Speaker 3
Distinguished heads of state and government, the future is built by us. We need a great reset. When they say you'll be happy, what they mean is you'll be enslaved. Today we have the technology to hack human beings on a massive scale.
0:52:34 - Speaker 2
The master of those technologies will be the master of the world. Those who control the data control the future not just of humanity, but the future of life itself.
0:52:49 - Speaker 3
Every aspect of our life has been infiltrated by people that do not have our best interests at heart. There are forces using fear and isolation to induce mass psychosis. I don't want you to be hopeful. Firemen will build fires. I want you to panic Storms It will kill your children. I want you to feel the fear I feel every day.
0:53:06 - Speaker 2
People are starting to wake up. We're starting to wake us The world.
0:53:12 - Speaker 3
I'm seeing people come together from all walks of life, finally saying enough is enough.
0:53:18 - Speaker 2
We didn't come here for no reason. We have a voice. We're here to share it. We have to be the solution. We cannot rely on the media, the president or whoever to fix these problems.
0:53:26 - Speaker 3
I would rather pick up cans on the side of the highway than to live out of alignment with my truth. We're all being driven back to the dream.
0:53:35 - Speaker 2
As you see in the audience Democrats, republicans, white, black, everyone all in between. This is the example that they do not want to see, but they have no choice.
0:53:45 - Speaker 3
The masses of humanity have been slapped awake. Open your eyes. It's time to wake up. This is the great awakening. People cannot go back into the matrix now. A lot of people are trying to. They can't.
0:54:14 - Speaker 2
Amen. Let's put up Matthew 7 as we pass out the communion elements. Matthew 7, verses 24 through 27. We are awakened but not woke. We are committed to Jesus and to His word and we have our feet on a sure foundation. Jesus said everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house and it fell, and great was the fall of it.
As communion elements are being passed out, i want you to just say this, jesus I put my trust in you. I believe in you. You hold my life in your hand. Your word says that in destruction and famine I shall laugh. You furnish a table for me in the wilderness. I partake of you, jesus. I receive communion right now. I believe that, as I do, the covenant with you is affirmed. It's a new covenant of your grace, ratified by your own blood, and all of the benefits of the cross are mine In Jesus' name, amen.
