Treasure That Outlives This Life

There is nobody here deserving of heaven. Hell was not made for us, but we became candidates through sin and rebellion. The Bible says that all have fallen short of the glory of God, and the wage of sin is death. We deserve the wrath of God, and God in his infinite mercy sends the perfection of his son to the earth to die on the cross for us and as us. There's this beautiful divine exchange that takes place. Praise God. Again, my name is Muhammad. I'm one of the pastors here. And man, God is up to something. That song really, really put me in the remembrance just now of like, it's almost like a big smack in the face to your issues. It's like, literally, I felt like the Lord was telling me the entire song. I don't care. Yes, yes. Okay, you can list out the issues. One, two, yeah. I don't care. I'm going to break all of it. I'm going to make a way. And it just gives me such a confidence. You know, I have seen God do a great and mighty many things in my life. But like I said, sometimes you forget. And I feel the Lord reminding me. He's like pulling up the resume going, my track record is impeccable. I dare you. I double dog dare you to believe me. And he will come through church. How many are having a good summer so far? You enjoying your summer discipleship group? Okay, okay. No, if you didn't know, we've determined that. Because in most churches, the summertime gets real sketchy. It's real swampy. People get hot and go to the beach and forget the Lord for some reason. Like as if he didn't completely save their life. It happens. Shouldn't, but it does. But we've determined that this summer we're going to press in and we're collectively as a church, we're reading the book The Reset by Jeremy Riddle. And it's really like collectively giving us a paradigm shift the way we look at worship and how we engage God so that it wouldn't just be this rote religious thing. It would be a true cry of our heart in connecting with God in purity. Amen. So that's a real exciting thing because we're only in, we just finished week two. We're going into week three. It's only six weeks for the summer. So if you haven't gone to one yet, hop on. You can either hop online or go in person. We have 12 of them all throughout the city. And again, online on Zoom. Top notch. Amen? All right. So I want to talk today about... an eternal state of mind. Not an empire state of mind. Because I know some of you are still tight that you didn't get them Jay-Z tickets. You ain't got to lie in the house of the Lord. I didn't get mine either. Don't worry about it. But no, I don't want to confuse it. This is not an empire state of mind. This is an eternal state of mind. Because there's a portion of scripture there. And I remember specifically as a young Christian, I would read this scripture and it was a bit of a head scratcher. And I didn't fully understand it the way I wanted to. And then recently, just in the midst of reading, the Lord really popped it open for me. So I want to share that with you. Amen? All right. So today we're going to be reading out of Luke 16. We're going to do a little bit of reading today, so put on your bifocals. This is Luke 16, verses 1 to 13. He also said to his disciples, there was a certain rich man who had a steward. An accusation was brought to him that this man was wasting his goods. So he called him and said to him, what is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship for you can no longer be steward. Then the steward said within himself, what shall I do? For my master is taking the stewardship away from me. I cannot dig. I'm ashamed to beg. I have resolved what to do, that when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. So he called every one of his master's debtors to him and said to the first, how much do you owe my master? And he said, a hundred measures of oil. So he said to him, take your bill and sit down quickly and write 50. I mean, 50. Because if you have somebody who's operating like that, I have no doubt that he has an accent and he says it like 50. Then he said to another, and how much do you owe? So he said, a hundred measures of wheat. And he said to him, take your bill and write 80. So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much. And he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give to you what is your own? No servant can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. So again, I'll ask you, have you ever wondered why the unjust steward in Jesus' parable was actually commended by the master? Because think about it, he was being fired for wasting the goods. He had a performance review and he came up lacking. And his thought was not let me repent, let me do better master. His thought was, oh, I'm about to get fired. Let me cook these books on my way out. But Jesus commends him for this behavior. None of you have ever read that before and thought to yourself, yes, that makes perfect sense. Okay, so we all go and lie in the house of the Lord today. Because I know for me, it seemed backwards. The man squandered resources, got caught, cooked the books on the way out. It's a liar and a cheater. Yet the master praises him. And you got to ask the question, why is that? And I'm gonna let the cat out the back now and we can unpack it later. The master praised him because the steward had made provision for his future. He thought about the end of his current situation and he acted shrewdly to secure what was coming next. Jesus used this unlikely story to challenge us. Are we as intentional about our eternal future as this dishonest manager was about his temporary one? So today we're talking about cultivating an eternity state of mind. Living every day with our eyes fixed on forever with Jesus. So again, Jesus, he tells of the rich man who has a steward. He's accused of wasting the goods. The master calls him in and says, give an account of your stewardship. Like, you know, the jig is up. I've seen that you suck. You got to call it what it is. He had the performance review. You got a two out of 10. That's not going to cut it. He makes it very clear. Get your business in order. I'm going to have to let you go. And again, the steward doesn't say, man, I'll get better. He says, man, I got to cook these books because I love it that the scripture actually shows his mindset. I just got my nails done. I can't. I can't manual labor. No, because this is the this is the mindset that he has. What shall I do? I cannot dig, beg, me? And he thinks to himself, I know what I'm going to do. See, right now we're going to get a recipe for fraudulence. And here's the funny part. And whenever you read the scriptures, please don't just skim over it. Everything that the Lord, because listen, people will say, oh, man wrote the Bible. Man wrote the Bible as they were moved along by the Holy Spirit, the scripture says. So we know that the anointing, the Lord himself was on every word that is there. So every word has significance and meaning. So don't just skip over something when you read it. Take the time to look at it in its full context. For me, when I read the scripture, it feels like a movie. An amazing one at that. Because there's even little subtext there where he's just like, okay, take your bill. 100? You said 100? Write 50. Quick, quick! It doesn't say that he was writing in his Hebrew text and he longingly pondered how much. No, the Bible says that. He says it quickly. Do it quickly. I have a picture in my head of him like... Come on, come on, write it. 50, 50, okay, okay, okay. You, how much? 80, 50. Take your bill. See, I was looking for the part where it said quickly. You left me out there, Hester. I thought she was following me, but praise God. Take your bill and sit down quickly and write 50. He couldn't even get the full pronunciation. He didn't say 50. He said 50, 50. Write 50. The steward knows that he's finished. But what was he doing? He was securing friends who would receive him into their homes when he was put out. He said, I'm going to do you a solid, so you do me a solid. Quid pro quo is what the world calls it. But again, surprisingly in verse 8, the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. Jesus adds this piercing observation. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. Now, what I always love about the word is Jesus is going to give you actual application. Verse nine, he says, I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much. And verse 13 caps it. No servant can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and money. So here's the heart of the message. The steward was applauded, not for his dishonesty, but for his forward thinking. He knew his present position was ending, so he prepared for what was next. So now Jesus is asking you, how much future planning do you actually do? Most of us plan for retirement, vacations, education, careers, children. We buy insurance, Bitcoin. We save money. We make arrangements with foresight. But how often do we plan for eternity? Can it be seen in your day-to-day life where your head and your heart actually are? The scripture is clear. He says, where your treasure is, your heart will follow. There's something called treasure traffic. Like right now, if you would be so willing to open up your bank statement and show where your purchases have lined up, it would tell a very clear picture of what you find important. Now, if there are 56 Starbucks purchases, they're only laughing because they're convicted. Don't you worry about it. Nobody's talking to you. It's my wife, by the way. Praise God. She don't even like coffee. But yet I keep finding coffee cups in the car. But I digress. So if you've got a long list of things and they all point to this magical creature called your belly. What does that say about what you value? If all you got on there is a bunch of Nike receipts and your sneaker collection is starting to look dangerous that your spouse is gonna kick you out of the house. What does it say about what you value? Where does your treasure traffic point to? Are you selfless? Do you have a bunch of receipts of zells that you've been sending out to bless other people? Have you been giving to the church? Have you been giving to homeless people and missionaries and supporting the work of the kingdom of God? Or have you just been feeding yourself? Feed me, Seymour. We got to ask a few questions. Are you wholly committed to the Lord Jesus? That is a super heavy question. But I want you to reflect on that as we go through today, because again, the answer to this question is going to be seen in how you've lived your life from day to day. Because I think it's really easy to raise your hand and go, ah, I am a lover of Jesus. And especially on a Sunday morning when you're in a room full of other Christians and the music is playing and the spirit of the Lord is vibing. And you're like, hey, Jesus, you the man, we praise you. It's kind of easy to raise your hand and do that, right? But it's in the day to day. When you're not in church and now you're surrounded by your supervisor who's giving your lip. Right? How you treat people from the day to day shows what you truly believe. Your treasure traffic will show how you feel about something. In the first service, babe, I was reminded of our wedding day. It was such a glorious party. It was amazing. After it was done, we went to a hotel because the hotel, we were going on a cruise to Bermuda. So we were like, all right, we're going to go. And it was super fun. For all the reasons that you can think. But here's the kicker. One of the things that they don't tell you that is extremely fun on your wedding day or your wedding night is you get to open all the cards. Oh, yeah. Nobody talks about it, but this is a fun part. You get to open the cards and you see all the loving well wishes that people send you. And then you get to look at all the different checks and the amount of zeros on each one of them. Oh, it's glorious. And also sinless sex, but praise God. You just slide it right in. Oh, that's a double entendre. Ah, Jesus. Metaphors, metaphors, praise God. But for me, it was funny because we were opening some of the cards. And people that I didn't have as tight a relationship with as I thought. were dropping some hefty, significant numbers to the point that I was just like, oh. And I'm like, hey, look at such and such. Look what they gave. And look at such and such. Look what they gave. And, you know, of course, you have, you know, the OG people that you know for 20 years and they gave you $20, but that's neither here nor there. We don't worry about that part. But the treasure traffic, it was indicative of relationships that had been built even over a short amount of time. So we were recognizing even then, and I look at it now and go, how I live and what I do is evidence of what I believe. When you believe that something is worth it, you begin to invest in that thing. Man, that's a word. When you believe in yourself, you begin to invest in your? But how many people, how many of us are willing to throw ourselves out because we don't think we're worthy? Oh, y'all ain't saying nothing. Listen, let's be fair and let's be true. Not everybody walks around with a super confident Christian attitude. I can do anything. Praise God. No, some people really have the mindset that says, I might not be worthy of the blessings that God wants to give. And then they slowly back out of position to be blessed. Can we be real? How many people do you know like that? Maybe you are the one I'm talking to right now where you have actively pushed yourself out of position because you don't think that you're supposed to get the good of the land that the Lord is promising in the scriptures. And I got to tell you today, change your mind. If God has said that you are blessed, you are blessed. You are a blessing. So receive every good that he wants you to have. In that regard, I'm super entitled. My wife will tell you. People want to bless me all the time. And I'm like, yes, thank you. Go ahead. Hallelujah. No qualms. At all. Because I understand that I am blessed and highly favored. The Bible literally says that I'm made perfect. Now she won't admit that, but the Bible says it. So I want you to start accepting what God says about you. This is a separate thing. This is not a part of my notes, not a part of my message, but I feel it in the room. So many of you have been tricked into believing that you're not worthy of what God wants to give you. He has given you the most precious and priceless thing in the world. The blood of his son. The blood of his son. If for nothing else, think about that. I knew a guy, he was a stamp collector. And he showed me a piece of paper. Paper's made from wood. Trees. A piece of paper processed. And it was worth over a million dollars, this square inch of paper. And I said, how? It's just paper and ink. He's just like, well, it's not about what it's made of. It's about what's it worth to somebody. Think about what you are worth and that the eternal God of heaven was willing to give the life of his son to bring you near. I pray that that puts a certain level of confidence on the inside of you that you think I do have greater worth if Jesus was willing to do that for me. But I digress. My notes say this is where we left off. We were asking some questions. Are you wholly committed to the Lord? I got to laugh because you don't understand how wonderfully, beautifully hard this job is in that you have to deliver a message and every now and again, he'll go, we're going over here. Just put pause on that. I'm like, but Lord, you prepared this. I said, put pause. Okay. Are you wholly committed to the Lord? Are you living with eternity in mind? Do you care more about the things of this world or the world to come that has been promised to believers? Because we're talking about cultivating an eternity mindset. Now, I have to be very clear when I say this because some people will mess up and ruin their lives saying that Pastor Mo told them to do this. So let's get this out of the way. Got to get your preambles and all that. Jesus is not telling us to be dishonest with money. Some people hear that message and think, I know what to do. Yeah, that boss for the last time, my check is going to be right today. Jesus is not telling you to defraud your bosses. He's not telling you to be dishonest with money. Amen? Amen? Amen? Amen. All right. Got to establish these things. He's telling us not to be dishonest with money. He's telling us to use the resources of this world, the unrighteous mammon, with the same shrewdness the steward used, but for eternal purposes. Use your money, use your time, use your influence and the opportunities to invest in people, to invest in his kingdom. So that when this life ends, there will be a welcome waiting in the everlasting home that he has gone to prepare for you. But that means faithfulness in the small things. Jesus drives this home with the principle we find in verse 10. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much. And he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. If we cannot be trusted with earthly money and resources, why would God entrust us with true riches? If we're not faithful with what belongs to another, think about it. This world ultimately is not ours. Who will give us what is our own in the age to come? And all of this leads to the bottom line in verse 13. It says, you cannot serve God and money or mammon the money God. You will love one and hate the other. Your life will prove which master you truly serve. Who does your life say that your allegiance is to? There are times where I have to stop myself because I get committed to the things that I like and I'm passionate about. My allegiance is not to the Knicks. It's to Jesus. Although Knicks and five, baby, let's go. My allegiance is not to all you can eat. Come on, Quad. I need an amen from you, brother. That's my partner right there. Sometimes we go and we just shut down buffets. He doesn't look like it, but he can throw it down. He comes prepared. He has plastic gloves. I'll be in there getting it. He's like, hey, hey, slow down. Put these on. I'm like, oh. The first time we went, I thought there was a problem. He was like, hey, you're going too fast. I'm like, what? He's like, put these on. He put on his surgical gloves and man, he made me proud. I didn't think there were many that could hang with me in such positions. Kwok is a real one. All right, so here's the application. Jesus always gives us an application. And again, I get it, we're New Yorkers, but we got to lose the empire state of mind and we got to get the eternal state of mind. Now, also to keep in mind, I'm not an escapist. I'm not of the mindset that I'm so heavenly minded that I'm no earthly good. I have a family to love. I have a job to do and to do well. Listen, let me just throw this out there. If you're a believer in any sphere of influence, in any marketplace that you may find yourself, in any job or any position, I do have an expectation that you would be better than your peers. Pastor Mo, how could you say it? Well, here's the thing. You have the spirit of the living God sitting on the inside of you. Everything that you do should be better than them and they don't have God. Do you mean that, Pastor? Yes, I do. I don't care if you work at Walmart. The way that you smile should be better than them. The way that you check people out. There should be an anointing on everything that you do. His spirit makes you excellent. And here's why. When people begin to ask this, because they notice that you're distinguished and you're different and you're special. It's not that you should get a big head, but when they start asking you questions about, hey, man, I know we both just got our performance reviews and the boss was telling me I got another two and he says that I should be more like you because you got nine. I'm like, what are you doing differently than me? That's when you got them. I got you. I got Jesus in my life. See, that's the on-ramp right there because most of them are not going to fall to their knees and go, tell me, what must I do to be saved? We're waiting for that moment. Stop waiting. Do things that will make you excellent so that they can ask you, why are you so excellent? Why do you always smell so good? How come you walk like this? How come everything that you do seems to just work out? What's going on in your life that you just, things are good. I like you. I like being around you. What's up? And then you can tell them ever so subtly. The Lord God. The living creator of all things. He abides on the inside of me. Giving me wisdom and insight. And no, don't be weird and say it that way. That's when you tactfully go, to be honest, is Jesus. Jesus, that is not what I thought I was going to hear. Yeah, man, I got a relationship with God. God. Jesus is the God of the Bible. We could definitely talk about it some if you're interested. You sounded super normal just now. What do you mean? Yeah, you can do it super normal just like that and let people know. Yeah, I have a relationship with God, the God of the Bible. And I have seen tremendous results. Now, again, you're going to have to use tactfulness because I'm not trying to get you fired. HR is a thing. But lunch breaks abound. Right? get you one of them Starbucks that we were talking about earlier. So again, we are not so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good. We have responsibilities here. We have families to love, jobs to do and do well, neighbors to serve, communities to bless. But our gaze has to be firmly locked on what truly matters. Forever with Jesus. Listen, if you don't know this, but this is the entire reason that we're doing this. Every one of us, the Bible says that we have failed. There is nobody here deserving of heaven. And the wage of sin is death. We, every one of us, we deserve the wrath of God. And God in his infinite mercy sends the perfection of his son to the earth to die on the cross for us and as us. There's this beautiful divine exchange that takes place. He takes on all of the penalty that we deserve for our sins. And he, with his perfect record, he's like, okay, I'm going to take their record and they get to take mine. And that's only if you would choose to put your faith in him for a rescue. Because eventually every one of us has to stand before God. And you get to stand before God and you get to answer how you got there. If you try to present your own case, I'm going to say this delicately, you're screwed. Because we all have this in our mind that we're going to compare ourselves to someone else. And that's not how this thing works. It's not a comparison thing because if there is going to be one comparison made, it's going to be made to Jesus. Because the idea is people go, well, you know, I'm not a sinner like this guy. I'm not a liar like this guy. The liar says, well, I'm not a murderer. The murderer says, hey, I don't hurt children. The pedophile says, well, I'm not Hitler. Hitler's like, damn. But no, when you get there, God is not going to ask you, okay, who are you better than? He's going to say, how did you get here? And either you're going to present a laundry list of filthy rags before him. Or you're going to say, I don't deserve to be here. I'm here because Jesus said I could get in. That's the only reason. That's the gospel, ladies and gentlemen. None of us, we will never do enough to be holy enough to deserve and earn heaven. If that has been your mindset in any way and you're not burnt out from religion as yet, let me just tell you now to get off that hamster wheel and put your reliance and your faith in Jesus alone. Amen. Part of the eternity mindset I want you to have is that you have now been delivered from the performance of having to be holy so that you can now look forward to life with him. You know, it's crazy because the scripture actually says this. This is eternal life. That you know God and the one whom he sent Jesus Christ, a.k.a. eternal life has already started. If you would reason yourself to it to understand what it truly means. I know all of you are waiting for the scripture to go on, but I just pulled that. The spirit pulled that out. I didn't give that to her. So stop looking. You're making her nervous. The media person's in the back like, relax. I didn't give her that one. So I'm going to give you four practical ways to cultivate this eternal mindset. Sound good? All right. Number one. I got no drum roll. Yeah, we're going to try that. Not again. Number one, use money as a tool for eternity. So generosity, supporting your local church, helping the needy, investing in people who will be in heaven with you. Think about it. These are the ways to, quote unquote, make friends for the ages to come. Did you catch that in the scripture? He says, I want you to show to where you're going. Number two, examine your daily priorities. What dominates your thoughts? What dominates your conversations? How about this? This is a really practical one. What dominates your calendar? The temporary or the eternal? See, this Sunday morning, you've made a step towards the eternal. You have the spiritual in mind, but Sunday morning is going to pass very quickly. 1237, it actually already has. Amen, brother. So, number one, use money as a tool for eternity. Number two, examine your daily priorities. Number three, live faithfully in the little things. Integrity in small matters reveals the condition of your heart. It's funny. I tell this to my daughter all the time. She's 10 now and she is wickedly clever. She reminds me a lot of myself, which is scary. I don't know if you've ever seen a little person who has you in them and you just go. Give me the heebie-jeebies sometimes because she's so smart and crafty. Obviously, she's not smarter than me. So she does things that I often have to remind her, make the right decision even when I can't see you because God will find you out and tell me. Tell them all the time. Like, it's so funny, her and her little brother, they love each other desperately, but they fight incessantly all of the time. And my wife and I, we've deduced that the reason that they fight is because we're not tough enough. My siblings, we hated each other. But we knew enough to stick together because there was an enemy called our parents. I grew up in a West African home, period. That tells you everything you need to know about my home life and my childhood. It was rough. We were all just trying to survive. And whether I liked you or not liked you, they're coming, quick! Look productive! Look productive! Hello, mother. No, no, I was just wiping the thing for you. Yes. Oh, you didn't ask me to do that. You're right, you're right. It was rough. So we've deduced that we're not tough enough because they're fighting each other because they don't have a common enemy. So we're going to create a common enemy for them. No, but it always shocks my daughter when the Lord will give me insight about something that I wasn't there for. And then I tell her, you did this. And she's like, I saw you. And she's just like, the cameras? No, no, no, it's not about cameras. This is about the Holy Spirit. He's a revealer of truth. If you didn't know this, that your life can be supernatural in every single way, God can help you in every facet of your life. The other day, we were at the gym of all places, and I felt an inkling. Check the camera in your house. Why? I'm at the gym, having fun. The kids are in the kid area, chilling. Ain't nobody home. Check the house. Check the cameras. Our Alexa is blasting music at 10. I told him, I was like, hey, turn off the music in the house. He's like, what are you talking about? I'm like, I just checked. It's on. She's like, how did you check? I'm like, the Lord told me to check, so I check. In every single area, the Lord will guide you and lead you if you keep that relationship and that mindset about what truly matters. That's not just for pastors, preachers, evangelists, and teachers. That's for everyone who has the spirit of the living God living on the end. Again, this is my reminder to you. This is why you're supposed to be more excellent than them. You have more help. The spirit of God will navigate you through things. Yes, I know that you lied on your resume, but the Lord will now give you grace to actually perform up to the lie. It's a whole nother sermon about how you got in that job, but don't you worry about it. The Lord is going to raise you up. All right. Use money as a tool for eternity. Examine your daily priorities. Live faithfully in the little things. Choose your master daily. Every decision is a declaration of allegiance. Will you serve God or will you serve mammon, the money God, or will you serve you? Every day you get to decide. Am I going to serve my kids as the priority? Am I going to serve my wife as the priority? Or is God the active priority? And everything will spring out of that. Because some people think it's unfair. Like, oh, how can you just say, you're going to put God before everything? Because when I put God before everything, he makes me suitable and enough to meet the needs of every other thing, person, and relationship in my life accordingly. But when I focus on any one of these things, instead of looking up, it always gets messed up and out of whack and out of balance. So for you who are working 80 hours a week because, you know, it's the grind and the ambition and I gotta just do it and da-da-da-da, I'm gonna give back to the kingdom because of it. Pause. I would rather you work 40 hours and make less, but know that you have a healthy life balance that honors the Lord, that keeps you healthy. Because I am not anti-capitalism. You go for it. You use ambition. Everything the Lord gave you. You use the wisdom. You make your money. You go for it. But remember the balance. Remember what is important and what comes first. It's him. And the church said? Amen. So here's the conclusion. And worship team, you can come on up. The unjust steward looked ahead and he acted. How much more should the children of light live with a clear vision of our eternal home? Let us live with an eternity state of mind. Not detached from this world, but also not enslaved to it. Let us use what is in our hands today to lay up treasure in heaven. Let us be faithful in the least so that we can be entrusted with the much. And just know that the much is his presence. The much is relationship with God. Relationship with his people, the kingdom of God. And above all, let us serve only one master, the Lord Jesus Christ. When life is over and we stand before him, may we all hear, well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord that has been prepared for you. Are you living with eternity in mind? Is there anybody here today that in response to this message... You want to receive the Jesus that we're talking about. You do want to keep relationship with him forever. If that's you today, I want you to raise your hand. As a matter of fact, everybody can close their eyes. This is not about the performance of you being seen, but it is about the truth of your heart and you responding in faith to the only one that can actually save you. If that's you today and you want a relationship with him, you want this eternal life of knowing God and the one whom he sent. I want you to raise your hand because I want to pray with you and for you. I see that hand in the back. I see that hand. Hallelujah. Oh, praise God. I want everybody to repeat after me. Now, those who raised your hand, everybody's eyes are closed. Don't you worry about anything. But I want you to boldly raise your hand. I want you to acknowledge. This is something I want. Raise your hand. Be proud of the fact that you want Jesus to be the Lord of your life. And everyone repeat after me. Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father. I need you. Today. Today. I put my faith in Jesus, in his sacrifice, in his perfect life. He died for me and now I will live for him. Keep me. Give me an eternal mindset that I would walk with him and it would show up in my decision making. In Jesus name. Amen. Father, I thank you so much for your people today. Strengthen and encourage them, Lord. Remind them from day to day to choose you always. Give them the balance that they need, Lord.
